Unsere base liegt direkt am Strand zur badewannenwarmen Andamanischen See. Railay Beach West &#8211; einer der sch\u00f6nsten Str\u00e4nde Asiens, im S\u00fcden der thail\u00e4ndischen Provinz Krabi. Eine traumhafte Gegend f\u00fcr Kletterer, Aussteiger und jene, die sich zumindest eine Zeit lang so f\u00fchlen und gleichzeitig einen paradiesischen Strandurlaub genie\u00dfen m\u00f6chten. Dort m\u00fcssen wir hin, sagen alle unsere Informationsquellen, denn dort ist der n\u00e4chste Wahnsinns-Strand.<\/p>\n<p>Am Railay Beach East beobachten wir Freeclimber, die hier in der Gegend steile Felsw\u00e4nde zu atemberaubenden Aussichten empor klettern. Wir schlendern weiter und\u00a0kaufen uns in einem kleinen Shop Erfrischungen und ein paar Postkarten die wir einer lieben Freundin schicken wollen. Drei Kinder managen den Shop &#8211; ausschlie\u00dflich in der Landessprache &#8211; die Gro\u00dfmutter kocht im Hintergrund alten Mais. Ich mache ein Foto von den Dreien\u00a0und habe danach keine Ahnung, wie ich es ihnen zukommen lassen soll. Aber das scheint sie nicht zu st\u00f6ren, sie freuen sich. Dann noch einer und bald ist um uns herum Affenparty. Der Zug der Affenbande scheint endlos und jedes Gr\u00fcppchen sorgt auf seine eigene Weise f\u00fcr Action. Meine Frau verteidigt geb\u00e4rden- und erfolgreich ihre Getr\u00e4nkedose gegen diebische Affenh\u00e4nde und eine russische Touristin ihr Leben, nach dem ihr ein ausgewachsenes M\u00e4nnchen zu trachten scheint. Kein Wunder, die Russin wollte mal das Affenbaby hochheben und hat die Eltern vorher nicht um Erlaubnis gefragt. Solange man den Affen ihre Ruhe l\u00e4sst, sind sie friedlich und verspielt. Diesen erreicht man nicht, ohne am Princess Cave die Vielzahl der unterschiedlichsten Holzphalli zu bestaunen. Jede Menge Long Tail Boats parken hier um Speisen und Getr\u00e4nke anzubieten. Das Gesch\u00e4ft l\u00e4uft gut. Wir laufen derweil im Wasser &#8211; das k\u00fchlt &#8211; zum anderen Ende des Strandes. Nach ein paar Minuten endet der Weg am see-seitigen Eingang einer gro\u00dfen Tropfsteinh\u00f6hle.<\/p>\n<p>Wir steigen durch die Tropfsteinh\u00f6hle hoch zu einem Aussichtspunkt und stellen fest:<br \/>\nEs ist wahrlich eine traumhafte Gegend f\u00fcr Kletterer, Aussteiger und jene, die sich zumindest eine Zeit lang so f\u00fchlen und gleichzeitig einen paradiesischen Strandurlaub genie\u00dfen m\u00f6chten.<\/p>\n<p>Ich merke, dass ich nun Durst, Hunger einen gepflegten Sonnenbrand habe und ich m\u00f6chte duschen.
